About Samarth

Hi there! My name is Samarth and I am the Founder and CEO of Iff Technologies. I founded the company in 2020 during my junior year as a Materials Engineering student at UC Davis after realizing that there was a gap between even the most savvy of researchers, such as those at the Joint Center for Artificial Photosynthesis (JCAP) at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, and quantum hardware and software providers, whether they be newer entrants, such as Rigetti, or well established modeling techniques, such as Gaussian.



As with many biology researchers, COVID-19 led me to switch focus from biomaterial design to biopharmaceutical development. In the past 5 years, I have grown to really love working in the biopharma industry and solving the biggest problems for the patients that suffer the most, and view it as my life’s work. With this focus on patient care and long term impact of new medicine, my work has spanned quantum chemistry models in photo-induced pigments to improvements in protein docking to reviews of protein structure prediction methods to molecular dynamics modeling with quantum characterization to clinical trial ranking.



Through my work at both Iff, at Deloitte, and across research projects with the Quantum Computing Club at UC Davis, all of which you can see on my Google Scholar or my LinkedIn , I have had the pleasure of working with world-renowned quantum physicists, medical doctors, biopharmaceutical legends, and more.
