I recap the events we at If and Only If Technologies were involved in, attended, or ran during JPM Week (the conferences and events surrounding the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference). Check out the many quantum related events, and learn more about Iff's current biopharma collaborations here .
Who is currently developing best-in-class ab initio quantum chemistry methodologies for modeling atomic and molecular energies? And why should we use these methods at all in understanding orbital mechanics of excited and ground states? I completed a review to understand this. Please read the report here .
Biopharmaceutical development is often characterized as an extremely complicated, highly expensive process that requires and benefits from numerous types of combinatorial optimization. But, what are these methods that are employed, and why? I investigate these methods more. Please read the blog here .
How many jobs really are there at the intersection of quantum chemistry, algorithms, devices, and general technologies and the biopharma industry? Does the Sacramento Valley have the talent pipeline and labor pool to support this? We completed a study during the summer of 2025 to address this, and were surprised to found more than 160 jobs globally at this intersection and more than 1500 people within the Sacramento Valley fitting the requirements put forward for quantum in biopharma. here .
